About the Company
Walters Bildelar has been managed by Christer and Kenneth Person since 1988; they took over the company from their father. Walter Person founded the company in 1966, which was then named Walters Bildelslager.
The company during the last years has considerably grown. Today, there are 22 people employed not including the 2 owners. Most of the employees have been with the company for many years, which makes and accounts for a well organised company, placing the main focus upon the customer and the development of the company.
The premises have access to large areas within the industrial area in Skogstorp, just north of Falkenberg after the old E6 road. We have access to a 28 000m² fenced in area, out of which approximately 8 500m² is covered.
Our customers are partly from the local area and are also from other areas, mainly in Sweden. This ensures that we continuously make the managing of parts in our storage more effective providing quick delivery of the required parts.
Every year we take care of 2000 – 2500 damaged and scrapped cars from Halland and the area around Gothenburg. The cars are mainly transported to us by local breakdown trucks.
Since 1999, we have had third-party certification regarding quality and environmental control of our operation. We have developed the company and can therefore today, handle the demands placed on us, for instance from: customers, suppliers, laws and regulation.
We are well aware that we work within an environmentally strained concern, at the same time we are anxious about being able to re-use as much as possible from scrapped cars. By doing this we save the earth’s resources.
